Okay, so I don't think this guy is generally an Idiot Driver, but he made a common mistake and one of my personal pet-hates on the roads yeterday evening.

So, there are two or more lanes on the road you're driving along ... and there's an on-ramp up ahead. Don't be a considerate driver and move into the empty right hand lane so as not to hinder the arriving cars, but rather stay in the left lane and cause them to come to an almost complete stop at the end of their on-ramp while you coast past oblivious.

It's so annoying and it happens more often than not at the Empire Road on-ramp to the M1 South. Yesterday evening this guy did it to me between 6 & 6:30 at another M1 on-ramp. In his defense, he did wave sorry as I pulled in behind him. So, not a complete Idiot Driver.

A Tractor ?

Such a pity that this tractor's number plate is illegible in the picture I took :( But it was a GP.

I love that here in Johannesburg in the middle of suburbia (this one was in Linden between 7:30 & 8 am this morning) we have guys driving tractors around. Hello, people? Am I the only one who thinks this is a completely ridiculous idea in the already unbearable morning rush-hour(s)?

Now here is a primary example of Idiot Driving because of cellphone use ... and in the rain, no less.

This guy was snapped driving up the William Nichol offramp of the N1 North on Sunday afternoon between 4 & 5 pm (or thereabouts).

Idiot.
